Can I Grow Herbs Without Freaking Out Over Bugs?

I've been wanting to start an indoor herb garden, but I have a strong aversion to bugs, especially spiders. It's not so much a fear as it is a physical discomfort when I'm near them. Should I try to grow my herbs while managing this aversion, or should I tackle my fears first?

You can definitely grow herbs indoors with minimal bug issues! If you set everything up carefully, you'll likely avoid most pests. Just keep in mind you might run into small nuisances like fungus gnats or aphids, but those are usually easy to manage. Doing some research on indoor gardening will help you feel more in control, too!

Hydroponics is a great way to go if bugs make you uneasy. Indoor setups can really limit interactions with pests. I've found that starting small, like with an indoor hydro kit, can help ease you into the gardening habit without the added worry of bugs. Plus, once you get the hang of it, you might gain more confidence!

That sounds promising! I've never tried hydroponics before, but if it keeps the bugs away, I’m all in!
