Which Pink Flowering Tree Should I Choose for My Baby?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a special tree to plant for my baby girl that can grow alongside her. Ideally, I want a pink flowering tree that will last many years and create lasting memories. I've been considering cherry blossoms and magnolias, but I've heard cherry blossoms have a short lifespan and magnolias only bloom for about two weeks each year. I visited a plant nursery that suggested an evergreen tree, but I'm hoping to get some recommendations for pink flowering evergreen trees that can live for over 80 years. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about lilacs? They come in lovely pink shades and are quite tough. However, they’re not evergreen, and their blooms are confined to spring. Still, they’re pretty hardy and won’t take over your yard. Just a thought!

You might want to consider Camellias! They can offer beautiful blooms and, while they aren’t technically evergreens in the traditional sense, they do keep their leaves year-round, adding some nice color to your yard. Plus, they can last quite a long time!

Apple trees are a fantastic choice! They can live for several decades, and once your little one is older, they’ll have the joy of picking their own apples. They also have a great shape even when they’re bare in winter, which adds some character to the landscape. Plus, you can tell them the story of Johnny Appleseed while they grow up!
