I'm new to gardening and I'm focusing on growing pepper plants. I've started them indoors and I'm about to transfer them into raised growing beds. My challenge is figuring out how to fill these beds with soil. I need around 60-80 cubic feet of soil, which is approximately 2.5 cubic yards. I've been using potting soil, but buying that amount would cost way too much. I don't have a compost setup, and since I live in a small property in the city, I can't easily transport large quantities of soil. Any suggestions would really help!

Have you checked if any local suppliers offer bulk soil delivery? Some landscaping companies will bring a couple yards directly to your home. I’ve found one that sells a blend of topsoil, compost, and sand specifically for gardening. It might be worth seeing if there’s a similar option near you!

That sounds interesting! I found a place that offers a 50/50 mix of compost and loam for about $200 including delivery. Does that seem reasonable?
