I don’t really see the need for a Hori Hori since I have my trusty hand trowel for digging and pruning shears for anything thicker. It seems more like a niche tool to me. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right?
Honestly, I think the Hori Hori might be getting more hype than it deserves. I’ve used one, but I stick with my AM Leonard soil knife. It’s lightweight, super durable, and has a great grip. Plus, it’s easier to clean and doesn’t warp in wet or muddy conditions. The Hori Hori feels a bit clunky and isn't as nimble to use for delicate tasks like my soil knife is. If you need precision, I’d definitely suggest something else!
