Hey everyone! I recently purchased an old house in Spain and need to install new wiring. I'm being conservative with my approach, planning for just 8 lights and 8 outlets across two floors. I'll mainly be using a 100W fridge, a laptop, and lights only in one room at night—so I might even skip the fridge if necessary.
I'm curious about the simplest budget-friendly solar system I could wire in, ideally between 500 to 800 watts. I've seen some systems meant for caravans but I'm also considering low wattage house solar panels, although I haven't found many options on Amazon.es. I know I need an inverter as well.
I want to start with a budget of €600 to €1000. Is it feasible to begin with one panel and add another later? Also, what's the most common wattage for solar panels—400 to 500W? Lastly, do I need to wire it into the grid for backup power or can I manage with just the solar setup?
