Since all your materials are ready, I’d say go for it now. What if you find out there’s an issue with what you’ve bought later on? Plus, contractors tend to increase their prices when you ask for new quotes, so you might end up paying more if you delay.
Honestly, no one can predict if prices will actually drop in the next 6 months. What makes you think they will? Right now, it seems like many contractors are busy, so I wouldn’t count on a price decrease.
