I'm new to gardening this year and have been successful with my other plants like cabbage, tomatoes, zucchini, and bell peppers. However, I'm struggling with my lettuce, which is looking leggy and sad despite getting the same care as my other crops. Any tips on making it thrive?

Honestly, lettuce is pretty easy to grow. I just sprinkle seeds directly in the dirt outside and it turns into a salad bar! You don't need to fuss too much. Just make sure to water it periodically and it'll thrive. It grows well even in cooler weather!

That sounds great! Unfortunately, I'm limited to container gardening on my balcony for now. But I'm hoping that by the time I have a yard, I'll know enough to make it easier!
