Hey everyone! I recently got a deal where I could pick a free tool after buying a 5 amp battery, so I went with the M18 non-fuel oscillating tool. Honestly, I'm not impressed at all. I tried using it for a drywall removal job, especially in tight corners, and it was super loud and just slow. I ended up just grabbing my Hackzall and cutting through the plaster like it was nothing. Now I'm considering switching to a circular saw instead. I'd love to hear what you all think about this oscillating tool—is there a specific type of job where it really shines?
