How Can I Improve the Look of My House?

I recently bought a house where the previous owner added a bonus room on top of the garage, and honestly, it looks a bit off to me. I'm looking for suggestions to enhance the overall appearance of my home. If you could change the color or the siding, what do you think would look good? Honestly, I think it looks pretty normal for a house! But if you really want to change things up, maybe consider beefing up the columns. It could give it a more welcoming vibe. Sometimes just a little detail can really change the look of a place!

Yeah, I agree! Chunkier columns could make a big difference in the aesthetic.

The addition definitely stands out because of the siding color, so painting it the same color as the rest of the house could help. If you're not a fan of the yellow, maybe consider a nice navy blue or something that complements your brick? It'll definitely create a more cohesive look without being too drastic!

I'm with you on that! I think a darker shade would really bring everything together.

You could try updating the landscaping too! Sometimes the surroundings can really elevate the entire look of a house. And if you're looking to make the front door pop, consider painting it a lighter color to draw attention. It could all tie in together nicely!
