Where can I find 170mm Rockwool insulation in South Yorkshire?

Hey everyone! I'm currently working on reinsulating my loft and I have 100mm of insulation installed between the original joists. Now, I'm looking to add 170mm of insulation between new beams that are set up perpendicularly to the original joists. We're hoping to use Rockwool instead of fiberglass, but we're having a tough time finding Rockwool insulation in that 170mm thickness. Does anyone know if it's available, or where I might be able to find some in South Yorkshire, UK? Thanks a bunch!

Is a thickness of 140mm (5.5in) enough for your needs? If not, you could always double up with additional insulation on top. Just a thought!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll consider that if I can't find the 170mm.

If you can't find 170mm Rockwool, don't worry too much! You can always cut and stack thinner pieces to get the depth you need. It maintains the insulation properties without compromising anything.

I thought Rockwool made insulation in that thickness, but I couldn't find it anywhere online—it might have been discontinued. I'd recommend contacting the nearest manufacturer; they might have some older stock or suggest alternative products that could work for you.
