6″ vs 4″ Recessed Lights: Help Me Choose!

I'm renovating the second floor of my house and I'm torn between using 4" recessed Halo RL lights for a sleeker, modern appearance, or going with 6" lights because my wife prefers fewer fixtures. Some people say that the 4" lights will give a space-age vibe, but I'm looking to find the right balance of design and functionality since we're considering installing 6 lights instead of 4. Any advice?

Honestly, you'll probably only think about the lights for a few minutes after they're installed. I’ve had both 6" and 4" lights, and I've never really noticed the size difference until someone pointed it out. Just go with what looks best to you!

I installed a dimmer on my recessed lights and it completely changed the vibe depending on the mood. I recommend doing the same. Whether you choose 4" or 6", being able to control the brightness can really enhance the overall feel of the space.
