I've just moved into a home with beautiful stained concrete floors, but I've noticed there are gaps where most of the door jambs meet the floor—likely left that way for the original flooring. I want to seal these gaps and have the jambs extend all the way to the floor for a professional finish. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any tips?

If you're looking for a nice finish, think about installing square rosettes that sit proud of the jambs and casings. Just a heads up, I plan to do something similar once I tear out my floor and polish the concrete.
It's important to consider your HVAC setup first. Those gaps are sometimes necessary for proper airflow, especially if you have central heating or cooling running. But if it's just the jambs you're focusing on, that's totally doable! You could extend the jambs to close those gaps without compromising airflow from the doors themselves.
