I'm diving into gardening for the first time and I'm curious about using pulp egg cartons to start my herbs and peppers. I've been saving some, but I've heard mixed things about them being effective. Should I go for it or is there a better option? I'm planning to keep them in the cartons until they develop their true leaves.

I tried using pulp egg cartons for sunflower seeds, and honestly, it was a disaster! The cartons fell apart when they got wet, and my seedlings ended up all over the place. I definitely won't be using them again.

Yikes! Sounds like a messy situation. I'll stick to using cups instead!
