Hey everyone! I'm new here and super excited about starting my plant journey. I live in an apartment without a balcony and I'm curious if it's possible to grow fruit-bearing plants indoors, specifically in pots. I've always wanted to enjoy homegrown fruits, but honestly, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to plants. I'm in Southeast Asia, so the climate is tropical and it's been pretty hot lately. Also, how long does it usually take for these plants to start bearing fruit? On a side note, I'm also considering stargazer lilies for my girlfriend since she loves them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! ?

Strawberries are a great option for pot growing indoors! They don't need a lot of space and can thrive in smaller pots. You might also consider miniature tomato varieties, which can grow in 5-gallon buckets and are super fun to grow! Just remember that for fruits like oranges and lemons, they require more space, so you'll need a larger pot if you go that route.
Absolutely, you can grow fruit-bearing plants in pots! Just make sure you have strong grow lights since they'll help a lot, especially if you don't get plenty of natural sunlight. There are tons of videos on YouTube where people share tips and experiences, depending on what you want to grow.
Yes, it's definitely doable! You just need to provide the right conditions for the plants, like adequate sunlight and moisture. If you give them what they need, you’ll be successful!

Thanks for the tip! I'm really leaning towards tomatoes, lettuce, melons, or strawberries, but I'm not sure which is best for a beginner. I just wanna make sure I get the pot sizes right, too! Sometimes I think I'm overthinking it, but I really want to make it work.
