I have a bunch of vegetable seeds to work with and I'm planning to create my own planters since our soil isn't the best. I've done some research on when to start planting indoors, but I'm curious about whether I should plant more than one seed in each spot of my tray. Right now, I only have one tray with 36 separations. I've also looked into when to transplant and move the seedlings outside. I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions! Thanks in advance!

When it comes to planting, it's a good idea to plant multiple seeds, especially with tiny seeds like chervil. It acts as a backup in case some don't germinate. If they all sprout, you can easily snip the extras out with scissors, so you don’t overcrowd the plants.
Definitely consider the age of your seeds too! If they're a bit older, sowing a few extras could help ensure you get some good plants. I'm using seeds from a library as well, and sometimes the germination can be a bit unpredictable.
