Hey everyone! I've got a pretty well-equipped garage shop (20x20) with most tools I need, including a new 14-inch Laguna bandsaw arriving next week! I have a built-in SawStop in a 6ft workbench and a big French cleat wall for tool storage. However, I've been realizing that the lighting in my shop isn't great at all. Right now, I just have a standard garage door opener light and an incandescent bulb. I want to hang some shop lights since I have a double plug in the ceiling for that purpose. I'm looking for recommendations, and if you have any links, that would be awesome! I'm ready to spend around $200.

I’d go for multiple cheaper lights rather than just a few high-end ones. It might cover more area and give you a brighter workspace overall. Just my two cents!
While I don’t have a specific product to suggest, I highly recommend 5000-6000K LED lights for your shop. I’ve installed two switches for different brightness levels, and they work wonders. Also, consider task lighting; I underestimated how crucial placement is before!

Totally agree! I need to figure out the best spots for lights too. It's going to be a bit of a project.
