After coming back from a two-week vacation, I noticed that the holes in my shower head have turned yellow, even though it hasn't been used during that time. Interestingly, the shower head in the other bathroom looks perfectly fine. I've tried soaking the affected shower head in white vinegar, but it hasn't made any difference. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to clean it effectively?

You might want to try removing the shower head and soaking it in CLR (Calcium, Lime, and Rust remover) for about an hour. It's pretty effective for tough stains like that. Just make sure to follow the instructions on the bottle!
Another option is to consider getting a filtration system or even just moving to a place with better water quality if that's feasible. It might help prevent future issues with discoloration.
