Hey everyone, I'm upgrading my bathroom and found something under the drain after taking out my fiberglass shower and tub. It has a bit of a musty smell, which makes me wonder if it's mold, but it wasn't damp. Here's a link to a picture of what I found. Is this mold, and if so, how can I treat it? Thanks!

Honestly, it doesn’t look like mold to me. Just because it has a dark color doesn’t mean it’s mold; there’s actually a lot of harmless black stuff out there. If it's not damp, you might be fine to just keep going with your project. Don't stress too much about it!
That's good to hear! I wasn't sure if the smell was a sign of something bad. It kind of looks like it could be some resin from the drain seal, but I guess I won’t worry too much about it.
