What Type of Light Fixture is This?

I just bought a house and noticed a light fixture that can be unclipped from the track. The setup includes a power strip that provides energy to the lights, and they're controlled by a wall switch. I want to know what the specific name for this setup is so I can explore buying different light fixtures for it. Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you have track lighting! This is a popular choice that allows for flexibility in positioning and design. You might want to look into H-type track systems, which are quite common.

Thanks for the info! That helps a lot!

You might specifically have an H-track system. Just keep in mind that different manufacturers may have varying tracks, so some fixtures may not fit. When you detach one, pay attention to the prong arrangement because it determines how you connect the new ones.

Got it! I’ll make sure to check the connector style so I can find some nice replacements.
