I've noticed that water runs from under my shower door over the marble ledge, leading to some water pooling around the baseboard underneath. It's not enough to soak the floor, but I worry it could cause damage to the baseboards over time. We've recently replaced the baseboard and I've been vigilant about drying it after showers, but I'm looking for any additional methods to protect it from this recurring issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If the shower sweep is working well, some water is still going to escape when you open the glass door. One option could be to remove the baseboard and tile the area to avoid it altogether. Otherwise, switching to PVC baseboard and using lots of caulk could help prevent damage better than wood.
It sounds like the ledge should actually be sloped towards the shower to prevent water from running off. If that's not the case, it might be a problem with the installation. You could also consider using tile for the baseboard in that area to avoid any issues with water damage in the future.
If the water is consistently running out, you might want to redirect the shower head to the other side. Also, check that the drain is set up right; if the shower pan is overflowing, it could be an installation issue.
It mostly happens from water dripping down the shower door onto the marble, then eventually dripping down the outside. The shower isn’t filling up.

True. That makes sense. Thanks!
