I'm diving into home projects and finally decided to pick up a hand circular saw. I heard it's a good idea to get one that supports a track saw rail system for more precision. Does Milwaukee offer any options like this? Also, if anyone has experience using a different rail system with their Milwaukee circular saw, I'd love to hear about it! Thanks in advance!

Honestly, just go for a dedicated track saw if you can swing it. They work like a regular circular saw and recently had a deal where it was hackable to around $240 if you already have M18 batteries. Plus, you can get cheaper Powertec tracks that are compatible!
If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, a 6 1/2" circular saw paired with a piece of 1x2 aluminum tubing is a solid way to go. However, if you think you’ll need a track saw often, investing in a track saw might be worth it. They can still function like a regular circular saw too!
You might want to check out guide rails from places like Harbor Freight, or you could even make your own using some thin plywood. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials on circular saw jigs that could help you out for both cross cuts and ripping!
Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I won’t need it all the time, but I was hoping Milwaukee might have a built-in system.
