I've been trying to find an M12 heat gun, but so far, all I've come across is the M18 model. I'm looking for something smaller and lighter, but the search results are all over the place. Can anyone clarify if an M12 version exists or suggest alternatives? Thanks!

Unfortunately, there isn't an M12 heat gun from Milwaukee. The M18 is your only option if you're sticking with their range. If you're open to other brands, Ryobi has a compact 18V heat pen that might fit your needs—it’s lightweight and great for light tasks.
Yeah, I've got the M18 heat gun, and even with a good battery, it runs out pretty quickly. I don't really think an M12 would be practical for this type of tool since cordless heat guns aren't very powerful.
I've used the Ryobi heat pen, and it's surprisingly effective for small jobs like heat shrinking. Definitely a solid choice!
