I'm a teenager looking to dive into gardening but I'm not sure where to begin. What are some of the best plants for beginners like me?

Pothos is a solid choice if you're just starting out! It's pretty forgiving and adapts well to different environments, making it ideal for beginners.

Don't be afraid to experiment! As a fellow teen, I can relate to having some failed attempts. Spider plants and ZZ plants are good ones to start with, along with Pothos. Just make sure to read up on their care needs like soil and water; it'll help a lot. Also, watch out for succulents—they might be too easy to overwater!

Thanks for the advice! I was wondering about snake plants too; they seem easy as well.

Since you're a teen, I bet budget is a consideration. You could start with seeds from fruits and veggies you might throw away. Bell peppers and tomatoes are pretty simple to grow. Plus, you can use coffee grounds as a free organic fertilizer to give them a boost! Good luck!

That's a great tip! I've actually been looking into snake plants too since they seem low-maintenance.
