I'm about to have my floors and baseboards replaced and it's the perfect time to give my room a fresh paint job. However, I'm unsure whether I should tackle painting the walls before or after the new floors and baseboards are installed. Some people suggest that painting first would help with cleanup since the old baseboards and floors will be removed anyway. What do you think is the best approach?

Definitely paint before replacing the floors! I just went through this, and painting first saved me a lot of trouble. I thought the dust from the flooring would be a bigger issue, but it wasn't too bad. Plus, it kept me from having to mask off everything. Just keep an eye on the flooring crew; they might accidentally chip the walls, but at least you won’t have to worry about paint drips on your new floors.

What if they bump the walls while working? Will I have to repaint those spots later?
