How Can I Create Privacy for My Upstairs Screen Porch?

I've got an upstairs screen porch that's really exposed since it's open on three sides, making it easy for anyone to see in. I currently have a 5 ft x 4 ft four-panel privacy room divider set up on one side, but it keeps falling over in the wind, and the mesh material has started to tear. I'm worried that metal dividers would be dangerous if they topple over. I'm looking for a better solution—something I could attach with Velcro at the top and sides of the screen to maintain some privacy, but I can't seem to find anything like that.

I went for custom roller blinds for my screen porch. They let in some light while blocking out most views, and each one is about 5 feet wide. They weren’t cheap, though—around $400 each. I had to get a bit crafty and use some wood strips with weather stripping to make sure the blinds don’t tear up the screens with the wind. I didn’t order mine from the link you mentioned, but they’re pretty similar and mine come in a tan color, which looks nice.

That sounds like a solid solution! I’ve been looking for opaque but not completely blackout material too. It’s frustrating that finding the right fabric to attach with Velcro is tricky. If you ever find something that fits the bill, let me know!
