I'm struggling to protect my plants from my cat, who seems convinced they're either a snack or a playground. I can't move them outdoors since I live in a cold climate. I'm looking for affordable indoor solutions to keep my curious kitty away from my plants. Any budget-friendly tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!

Some folks suggest putting water bottles around the plants to deter cats, but I've heard mixed results. Others use old CDs, but honestly, my cats aren't scared of either. Just sharing a couple of ideas!
I keep my plants on wire shelving. My cats don't have the skills to make it up there, so it’s a good solution for me!
I do have a wire shelf, but it's currently being used as a makeshift garden shed. Thanks for the idea though! ?
Try planting some cat grass in a low pot. It's safe for cats and good for hairballs! You can put your cat next to it when he’s munching on something else. My cat loves it and always goes for it even outside. You can find kits that come with a pot and seeds to grow more later.

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately, my cats aren't intimidated by water bottles and I don't have any CDs lying around. But I appreciate the input! ❤️
