I'm considering using Miracle-Gro Potting Soil because it seems budget-friendly, but I've heard mixed reviews. Some folks warn about pesticides in it, while others swear it's the best bagged potting soil out there. I'd love to hear your experiences with this brand. Am I safe to use it for filling 10 five-gallon pots and 10 three-gallon pots? Looking for the most cost-effective way to grow my plants!

Honestly, I'd avoid Miracle-Gro entirely. I feel like it's harmful to plants, almost like you're drenching them in poison!
I checked out a video on Epic Gardening where they tested a bunch of different bagged soil mixes. The yellow bag of Miracle-Gro Potting Soil came out as the top performer with the same type of pepper plants. So, it might be a solid choice!
I saw that video too! Miracle-Gro really stood out, but I've heard mixed opinions, which makes it confusing.
I think Miracle-Gro Potting Soil works fine! The yellow bag is better than the blue one because the blue tends to retain too much water. If you want something organic, though, you might want to try Fox Farm's Ocean Forest. It's decent for container gardening but not the absolute best.

That's concerning! What soil do you recommend instead?
