Hey everyone! I'm curious about how you all handle pests when it's time to bring your outdoor plants back inside for the winter. Do you think they really thrive outside, or is that just a myth? Do you bring them in every night, or spray them with neem oil or similar products before and after? What's your routine?

I don’t do much, honestly. Here, natural predators like ladybugs take care of pests, and I don't see many infestations when my plants are outside. I believe healthy plants are less likely to attract pests. I even have beneficial critters like centipedes in my pots that help with soil health.
I spray mine down with a hose to remove any bugs before bringing them in, then treat them with some horticultural spray once they're inside. One thing to keep in mind is to acclimate them gradually to full sun. I start them in a shady spot before moving them to sunlight.

That's an interesting perspective! I guess having a balanced ecosystem helps.
