Hey everyone! I've been diving into gardening this year but I'm running into some issues with seed germination. I've got a cooler setup with a heat mat at the bottom and grow lights on top, and while my bell peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce are sprouting nicely, my tomatillos and jalapenos just won't germinate. The lights and heat mat are on a schedule, but still no luck. Any tips or advice to help me out?

It can be really frustrating when seeds don't sprout! Sometimes it's just a mystery, but it might be due to a problem called 'damping off' or maybe you're dealing with bad seeds. Definitely make sure you’re getting your seeds from a reliable source and following the planting instructions. Also, be careful not to overwater because that can lead to damping off too!
If you got your seeds from Home Depot, check the seed packets for reviews or experiences from others. It can help you identify good seeds from bad ones.

Thanks for the advice! I thought my gardening skills were non-existent. I almost gave up on this!
