I'm tired of using graphing paper for my projects and I'm hoping to find some software or apps that can help me plan my builds with 3D models. I'm looking for something simple and user-friendly since I really don't want to go through the hassle of learning CAD all over again. Any suggestions?

For more advanced needs, proper parametric CAD like Fusion 360 or OnShape is definitely the way to go. A lot of people start with SketchUp thinking it’s easy, but once you deal with more complex structures, you'll see why learning CAD can be beneficial.
Moblo is another great option. It's slightly easier to navigate compared to SketchUp, so it might be more up your alley if you want something straightforward without the steep learning curve.
If you're considering getting into 3D printing, Fusion 360 is worth looking at! It's more complex but has a lot of features that could really assist you in detailed planning.
You might want to check out SketchUp! It's pretty popular for 3D modeling and easy to use, especially for beginners. It could help you visualize your builds before you start working on them.

Thank you! I’ll definitely give it a try!
