Dealing with Wild Strawberries in My Garden: What Should I Do?

Hey everyone! My husband and I moved into a new house last summer, and we have a decent-sized front garden with a couple of flowerbeds that have some aging plants and shrubs. One of the beds is completely overrun with wild strawberry plants. I love strawberries, but last year we only managed to get two strawberries from the whole patch! I'm not really experienced with gardening, so I'm unsure if the plants will produce more fruit or if I should just dig them out to make room for alpines and perennials to brighten things up. Any advice on what to do next? Thanks in advance!

Just to clarify, are these wild strawberries the tiny ones or the full-sized ones? It’s important to know which type of strawberry you have because the care can be quite different. Wild strawberries are smaller and might not produce as many fruits as the bigger ones. If you can figure that part out, it could help guide your next steps!
