Thoughts on My AI-Generated Garden Plan?

Hey everyone! I've recently been experimenting with some advanced AI models and created what I'm calling the Singularity Garden. This isn't a commentary on AI ethics or anything; it's more of a fun exploration to see what the AI could generate. I used a prompt focusing on my garden setup, which is in Zone 6b with a no-till method, white clover as ground cover, and straw mulch. I want to grow a mix of vegetables, herbs, and maybe some fruits using square foot gardening and optimizing for companion planting. I'd love to hear your thoughts or experiences with what the AI came up with! Happy to share the prompt too if anyone's interested!

You definitely should share your prompt whenever you're testing AI outputs! It helps to clarify how to use it effectively. And I think it's pretty cool as-is!

I’ll share the prompt later today! I was a bit hesitant at first due to some potential backlash, but I’m glad to share the details now!

Also, could you provide some lists of suggested vegetables, fruits, and herbs? I have similar space and would love some optimized layouts for companion planting as well!

That's a really interesting output! It looks way more detailed than what I usually get from AI models. I was also trying to figure out if it's better to plant companion plants next to each other or if they can be spaced a bit apart. Any thoughts on that?

I think it varies by the types of plants and their roots. For nitrogen fixers, being closer might be beneficial since they'll distribute their nutrients into the soil more effectively. But for pest control, I guess proximity could help with that too.
