I've got 8 fully mature blueberry bushes that give a great harvest, but we're moving 40 minutes away and I want to take them with us. Since I've never transplanted before, I'm looking for any tips or advice on how to do this successfully. Thanks for any help!

Transplanting mature blueberries isn't too tricky if you do it right! I moved some from one side of my yard to another and 5 out of 6 have fully budded out. Just make sure to dig up enough of the root ball and give them some space in their new home. They'll adjust well!
Yeah, pots sound like a good idea for the ride. It’ll keep them safe during the move!
Just a heads up—if you're selling your home, make sure the blueberries were excluded from the sale. If there's any sort of contract, moving them may not be an option. But as long as you’ve covered your bases, you should be good to go!
I’ve checked on that, and I'm not under contract yet. I made sure to mention the peaches and raspberries instead.
Sounds like you’ve done your homework! Good luck with the move!

Thanks for the tips! Should I maybe put them in pots until we get to the new place? I'm worried about transporting them.
