Hey fellow gardeners! Last season, my garden was overrun by deer, and it felt like I was fighting a zombie apocalypse with veggies. They devoured everything like it was a buffet! This year, I'm determined not to let them win. So here's my question for you all: Is using fabric-covered hoops enough to keep these deer from munching on my raised beds? Or should I go all out and build hinged covers with chicken wire like I'm arming my garden against a siege? I need your best tips to save my seedlings from becoming deer snacks!

I’d definitely go for chicken wire! Deer can be really persistent, but chicken wire will help keep them at bay. It’s a solid choice for protecting your plants.
Last year, I tried a product called wireless deer defense, and it worked wonders. It uses little sticks that attract deer and then gives them a slight shock when they get close. I didn’t have any deer damage all summer! Just make sure to supplement with some marigolds and onions around the perimeter, as I suspect they helped too.

This is great information! Thanks for sharing!
