What would be your ideal recessed lighting setup if budget wasn’t a concern?

I'm curious to hear what combinations of recessed lights, drivers, and bulbs you would choose if money were no object. What makes your choice stand out?

If I had the budget, I'd hire a lighting designer. Effective lighting isn’t about current trends; it’s really about understanding what needs to be lit and figuring out the perfect approach for each situation.

I’d go for standard metal 5/6 inch cans. They offer endless options for lighting and are super easy to replace if you want to try something new later.

But honestly, 5/6" cans feel outdated now. I'd suggest looking at 4" cans as a better option unless you're working with really large spaces.

Removing all the original fixtures from my house would be my first move. Replacing lighting fixtures is pretty straightforward, so it gives me the flexibility to change things up as my needs or room layouts change.
