Will Planting First and Second Earlies Potatoes Together Affect My Crop?

I recently planted my first and second earlies potatoes at the same time, and I'm starting to worry it might affect my crop. A farmer I spoke to said it was fine to plant them together, but I keep hearing that it's better to plant them a few weeks apart. Did I mess up my potatoes, or will they still be okay?

No need to stress! I've planted first earlies, second earlies, and even main crops all together before, and it turned out just fine. The main reason people tend to stagger planting is to avoid having too many potatoes ready to harvest at once, not because planting them together ruins the crop.
