How Can I Test an M12 1/2″ Impact With 500 ft-lbs Torque?

I'm really excited about the M12 series tools you all have recommended, but I need some advice on how to test my M12 1/2" impact that claims to deliver 500 ft-lbs of torque. Any tips or equipment suggestions would be appreciated! And, yeah, I might have gone a bit overboard buying tools, but they're just so great!

LOL, I get it! The laughing emojis were a clear sign of sarcasm. But seriously, some of these numbers can be misleading. You'll often find that the real-world torque isn't as high as claimed. Just trust your gut on whether it's doing the job!

Honestly, why test it? Just start using it! If you're feeling adventurous, head to a packed parking lot and see how many lug nuts you can take off. Just remember to know when to stop before it gets out of hand!

From my experience working maintenance in a paper mill, I can vouch for the M12 being a beast. It’s super lightweight, fits into tight spots easily, and I can use larger sockets without needing an adapter. I regularly use 1-1/2" sockets with it!

You might want to check out some testing equipment from TTC. They have a video on it that breaks it down well! Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/Sirk4_OeR0Q?si=k70hrVMGWWzVFqxS
