I'm curious about the ethics and legality of seed bombing in my local area. Behind my house, there's a concrete trail that leads to a canal, and the area next to it often becomes bare because the weeds are cut down occasionally. I was thinking of walking down there and planting some native flower seeds to help bring biodiversity to the neighborhood, as we hardly see pollinators like butterflies. However, I'm worried about the legality of this action and whether any of the native plants could be toxic to pets or people. I have 4,500 wildflower seeds, and I'm willing to do more research to ensure they're safe and beneficial. I want to enhance the visual appeal of the trail and help the ecosystem, but I want to make sure I do it the right way. What do you think?

Go for it! Just make sure the seeds are native to your area. It sounds like a great way to improve the local ecosystem.
I’ve seen others try similar projects before, but results can vary. A lady I know scattered milkweed seeds for miles and only got a few plants to germinate. It might be hit or miss! Plus, the ground prep matters too. Still, it’s worth a shot if the flowers are native!
Honestly, who’s going to know you did it? It's not harmful at all, so I’d say just sprinkle those seeds and enjoy the transformation!

Thanks for the heads-up! I’ll definitely look into the specific flowers and their adaptability to the environment.
