Best Containers for Growing Strawberries?

Hey fellow gardeners! I'm new to gardening and I'm looking to buy bare root strawberries to grow in a container. I'm curious about what types of containers you prefer for strawberries. Do you think grow bags are better, or maybe a tiered planter? I've also seen three pots stacked together. What works for you?

Additionally, I've read that strawberries thrive in full sun. Is that true even after June? Should I consider offering them some shade during the hot months of July and August, or will the sun not really affect them? I'm in zone 7b and just want to make sure my plants don't get scorched. Thanks for any advice!

I usually go for a tiered planter! You can fit about 10 strawberry plants in there—4 on the top level and 3 on the middle and bottom. I’ve got two on my porch right now and they’re thriving! Just make sure to water them regularly; they can dry out quickly in containers.

That sounds great! Is your tiered planter the kind you have to rotate? I've heard that might help with growth.
