I've noticed that the corner of my house has suffered from erosion. I tried adding new dirt, but unfortunately, it washed away again. What steps can I take to effectively fix this issue and prevent it from recurring?

It sounds like you're dealing with some pretty aggressive weather elements. Erosion often happens due to heavy rain or wind. Have you considered installing some sort of barrier or better drainage system to reroute the water? Also, using erosion control fabrics or planting grass might help hold the soil in place.
You might want to check how long you've had the drain extension on your downspout. I’ve found that just adding dirt doesn't always work if the water is still running off in the same direction. Try to make sure that the area is graded away from your house to divert water better.
