Hi everyone, I'm new to the brand and I recently ordered the 20V MAX Pruning Shears from Woot. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a battery. I noticed that Woot also had the 20V MAX XR POWERPACK 8.0Ah Battery for $100, but it doesn't include a charger, and I feel like that battery might be too much for my pruner. Is it worth the price? Are there better battery options available that come with a charger? If I decide to go with the battery from Woot, could someone recommend a compatible charger I should buy? Thanks!

Hey! If you're considering other DeWalt tools in the future, that 8.0Ah Powerpack is a solid choice, even if it’s a bit overkill for the pruner. It’s great for high-demand tools. If you're looking for a cheaper charger, check out sites like Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace; you can usually snag one for around $20. Otherwise, the Powerstack 1.7Ah battery is a good fit for the pruner and often goes on sale!
