I bought a brand new Dewalt impact, and just a month later, it burned out and lost power. I tried contacting Dewalt but couldn't get through, so I ended up doing a live chat. Unfortunately, they wouldn't send me a replacement and just told me to send it to a repair shop that's about 4 hours away, which is not feasible for me as a carpenter. This is my third Dewalt 20v tool to fail within a month this year! Honestly, I'm tempted to switch brands because of this experience. Has anyone else run into issues with Dewalt's customer service lately?

If you bought it from Home Depot or Lowe's, they might be able to help you with a replacement. Have you tried talking to them?
Wow, that sounds super frustrating! Have you checked if there are any postal services nearby? Maybe shipping it out could be an option?
There is a postal service, but they open after I start work and close before I get off. It’s just easier for me to buy a new one. I spend so much on tools each year, and I expected better service from Dewalt!

Yeah, I got it from Home Depot, but they won't refund it because it’s a discontinued model. Why are they still selling it if they can't replace it? It’s just frustrating!
