Feeling like a terrible plant parent! Can I save my pickle plant?

I've been caring for my plants, but I think I may have messed up my pickle plant. When I was watering it, I didn't really pay attention and now it has some mushy leaves. I'm worried I might have killed it. I'm feeling really guilty about it! Can anyone help me figure out what to do?

Hey, don't be too hard on yourself! Everyone has had plant fails - it’s part of being a "plant parent". Just learn from it and move on. You'll get the hang of it!

Thanks! That actually makes me feel a little better. The plant seems okay, so I’ll keep an eye on it and update later!

You might want to gently take it out of the pot and check the roots. If they look mushy, it could be a sign of overwatering or rot. If they're healthy, that’s a good sign!

I checked, and the roots are healthy! I let it air dry for about 30 mins and then repotted it in a larger pot with dry soil. Fingers crossed it bounces back!
