Hey everyone! I've been having an issue with gaps in my front door where you can actually see outside. I've just replaced the weather stripping, but there's still a noticeable gap. I could really use some advice on how to fix this! Any tips?

First off, check to see if the screws on the hinges are tight. Sometimes, tightening them can help align the door better. Also, make sure the door is level; it might need a little adjustment to fit properly.
I had similar issues, and what worked for me was doubling up on the weather stripping. You just need to find weather stripping that’s designed for that. It made a big difference for me!
If the gaps are in the bottom corners and you can see light coming through, consider getting corner seals. They can help close those gaps effectively. Just a heads up, if the gap is at the top corner, corner seals might not work as well there.
Oh, I see. My gap is at the top corner. Can I still use a corner seal there? Sorry, I’m kinda clueless about these things! ?

Doubling it up? How do you do that? I’m having trouble even getting one strip in!
