Hey everyone! I'm struggling with taking care of my succulents. I bought three small ones that came in self-watering pots and decided to cut the bottoms off and plant them in a larger indoor pot with soil. They've been with me for about a month, and while they're still alive, I'm not sure if I did the right thing by transplanting them. Should I have removed them from those tiny pots entirely, or are they okay like this? I'd be happy to share a picture if that helps, but I'm not close to them right now. Thanks for the advice, fellow plant lovers!

Self-watering pots aren't ideal for succulents, as these plants prefer their soil to dry out completely between waterings. Make sure to let your succulents get thirsty before you water them again. Also, check out the Beginners Basics wiki for some essential tips on succulent care.
Honestly, try not to touch them too much. I forget about mine, and they're thriving! Just let them be and they’ll let you know when they need something.
Your succulents need plenty of light and a little patience. Feel the leaves—when they feel a bit thirsty, it's time to water! I've lost a lot of plants on my journey, but letting them be a bit neglected can actually help sometimes!
