I'm having some trouble changing my light bulb. I ordered a replacement bulb that's supposed to work, but I'm not sure how to get the old one out of the housing. Is there a specific method I should use, or do I need to replace the entire fixture instead? Here's a link to see what I'm dealing with: https://imgur.com/a/0JZSyOO

It sounds like you're having a bit of confusion about what you're trying to change. Are you only looking to replace the bulb, or do you think you need to replace the whole fixture? If it’s just the bulb, try pulling the plastic trim off carefully—it’s usually just held on by a latch.
To change the bulb, you should just spin the new one into the receptacle. If that's not working, you might need to try pulling away the plastic trim from the aluminum housing first. Be gentle, and if it's still stuck, give it a little quarter turn to see if that helps.

I only want to change the bulb if possible, not the entire fixture.
