Hey everyone! I've unexpectedly ended up with around $1000 in store credit at a tool supplier, and I'm looking to buy a smaller table saw to fit in my tiny shop for the next 12-18 months. I won't be using it for full sheets, just some softwood, hardwood (less frequently), plywood, and MDF. I'll also need it for dados and tenons. The models I'm considering are the Bosch GTS10 J, Bosch GTS 10 XC 254MM, Bosch GTS 635-216 8 inch, and the DeWalt DWE7470. I've had a bad experience with cheaper budget table saws, so I'm keen to hear if anyone has tried these specific models or has any thoughts. If not, I might just end up using the credit for a drill press and clamps instead. Thanks!

I've used the DeWalt model and I think it's pretty solid! The dust collection was surprisingly good, and the fence system is well-designed. Of course, it won't match the precision of a cabinet saw, but it can definitely get the job done for smaller projects.
If you do decide on the DeWalt, keep in mind that it tends to hold its value well, so when you're ready to upgrade to a cabinet saw, selling it second-hand could be a good option!
I haven't personally used any of these saws, but based on what you're looking to do, I think any of them would work fine. Just a tip: if you can wait until June, you might catch some sales for Father's Day, which could stretch your store credit for an even better deal!
