Looking for an Off-the-Shelf Charger for SLA Batteries

Asked By BlazeNinja1234 On

I'm planning to build a medium to large capacity power bank to keep my devices charged during power outages. I'm leaning towards using an SLA battery since they're affordable and reliable compared to lithium batteries. Can anyone recommend a good off-the-shelf charging circuit? I've seen plenty of options on AliExpress, but I'm unsure which ones are reliable. Any help would be appreciated!

You might want to check out battery maintainers or even a solar panel with a charge controller if that suits your needs. They really help keep the battery in good shape without overcharging.

Thanks for the tip! I looked it up, and it seems like a battery maintainer would work perfectly for me. Unfortunately, solar isn't an option since I live in Seattle, haha!
