Hey everyone! I recently purchased a shed kit from Home Depot, and I'm a bit puzzled about the foundation. I plan to use 4-way concrete blocks for support, as shown in this link. The shed itself includes a floor kit, but I'm trying to understand exactly what that means. In the instruction manual, it mentions that if I've bought a separate floor kit, I should follow those instructions for the floor's construction. Additionally, there's a section that talks about an optional reinforced wood floor frame. Do I need to buy extra wood to build this floor frame? And can I just place the shed directly on the ground, or should I dig up some grass and lay down gravel? Thanks for your help!

If you're using deck blocks, you'll need to build a specific type of floor frame. I recommend using marine-grade plywood on top of those blocks to create a solid base for your shed. Check out the example I shared for a good visual of how it should look. Also, there's an older post that might have some useful tips on building a deck with deck blocks.
It seems like your shed kit doesn’t actually include a traditional floor kit since there are no floor joists or panels listed in the parts. However, I found out that the manufacturer mentioned in their product reviews that the floor kit is included but comes with its own separate instructions. So you might have everything you need after all!

Thanks for the info! I'll double-check the instructions included with the kit. That clears up a lot for me!
