Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out how to reduce or block the light coming from my two west-facing windows, especially since they light up my upstairs TV with a lot of glare in the evenings. I don't want to completely black them out though, as I think that might look unappealing from the outside. I'm open to any recommendations to help minimize the glare without compromising my home's exterior. Thanks for your help!

You might want to consider installing window tint. I’ve got it on my west and south windows; works great! You still get some light in, but it significantly reduces that harsh glare.
Don't forget about classic blinds or curtains! They can be stylish and functional, helping to reduce glare while still looking good from outside. You might just need to find the right material or design to match your decor.
Functional shutters are a fantastic option! They've been used for ages to cool homes and block light effectively. Plus, they can look stylish on the outside too.
Shutters are a great choice! They can really enhance the curb appeal while doing their job.

I've heard window tint can be a great way to keep some light but cut down on glare. How dark do you have it?
